Our policies are designed to keep Studio1248 a safe and happy space for every student, to properly fund the school and its branches and community activities, and to stay true to our commitment to totally private, independent education where teachers have full control over their educational choices.
     The following are some examples of our general policies. Click the bottom link for a more extensive list.
1) We follow the Open Latch Education Foundation school calendar.
2) We adhere to OLEF's manual for microschool accreditation.
3) Students must attend an absolute minimum of 1001 hours/year.
4) All tuition for the year must be paid by the end of the first term.
5) Students receive a mid-year grade report and an annual transcript.
6) Bullying or consistent unkindness will not be tolerated.
7) No backpacks are allowed in the house.    more...
