Heading 4

Our specific program is for 7th graders and up. 7th and 8th graders are placed together into a tier of their own, 9th and 10th graders into another tier, and 11th and 12th into their own tier.
To graduate, all must meet the minimum core-skill sets for the traditional disciplines by passing comprehensive exams or by presenting portfolio work. Some students will finish early and can then develop self-directed paths with mentor oversight.
We value people-oriented skills and the humanities over technical, mathematical, or scientific skills (although all are important) because we believe we are moving into an age where relational careers are going to be in high demand. We also simply believe people are made to both know and to love, not just to know. Education must have both as a goal.
Through our parent school Ravenburn College, we allow 9th graders in good standing to start an AA in Applied Humanities if they wish to, finishing the degree by their senior year.
