Good teaching is much more an art than a science. Good teachers have developed personal techniques that cannot be standardized in order to facilitate some sort of "plug and play" model of teacher replacement. Also, curricula should never be designed with a "one-size-fits-all" model, nor should much focus be put on preparing for standardized tests, as this fundamentally defeats the purpose of customized education..

In order to preserve the uniqueness of every student's educational experience, Studio1248 is strongly committed to being completely independent of state and federal oversight. However, if state funding exists in a way that does not compromise our vision or approach, we will accept it in order to lighten the financial burden on parents.

The Ohio Nonchartered Educational Savings Account Program will be in place for the 2026-2027 school year. This system will allow parents to annual access state-provided funds of up to $6,300 per student per year, to send the student to a nonchartered, nonpublic school of their choice. Studio1248 qualifies as an Ohio recognized nonchartered, nonpublic school. We will accommodate any parent that wishes to use these funds, and we will also work with parents who wish to pay our annual $5000 tuition out of their own means.
